Studio Blue began in 2003 by designer Janet Saucedo, who has been creating jewelry for the past 6 years. This Southern California-based company evolved from Janet wanting to, after giving birth to her baby girl Sophia, find a way to spend more time with her three daughters Jessica, Taylor, and  "Sophie".

With an eye for fine detail and a talent for finding the right balance in colors and textures, her background has always been in something creative from art to interior design.

Specializing in well crafted pieces that are considered both delicate and visually striking, Janet, a 3rd generation Japanese-American, draws inspiration from her family background. With the influence of both East-West cultures, she reflects the mixture of both worlds into her collection. Her quest to keep improving makes her designs constantly evolving and original.

Her jewelry has appeared on television and has been worn by celebrities and can also be found in specialty boutiques.
